RAIN BARREL DISTRIBUTION

The Harrisons Bay Association will be offering Rain Barrel sales again in 2025 in partnership with the City of Mound and the City of Minnetrista. Rain barrels sales will open online on March 1, 2025 at the

Recycling Association of Minnesota website. Residents of Mound and Minnetrista will be offered a

discounted price of $70 + tax using the promo code HARRISONS, thanks to generous donations from:

• City of Mound ($20) + City Engineers Bolton & Menk ($10)
• City of Minnetrista ($20) + City Engineers WSB ($10)

Residents of other cities are also welcome to purchase rain barrels at a price of $100 + tax.

These rain barrels are made of recycled milk bottles and provide the following benefits:

• Reduce the amount of stormwater run-off into our lake which carries pollutants. 
• Provide an estimated 1,400 gallons of rainwater for use in gardening
• Better natural water for your plants
• Saves on our precious water resources

We SOLD OUT of rain barrels in both 2023 and 2024! Sign up on the interest list linked to the right to

receive an email with the link to the sales on March 1st.  Distribution of the rain barrels will take place

the morning of Saturday, May 31 st at the Mound Public Parking Ramp. Before purchasing please make sure you can pick up your rain barrels that day.
